Steel wool to remove loose surface rust, paint, then with Rust-Oleum (rust stop) gloss protective enamel spray paint. ($ 4 Hardware / Walmart) When painting too rusty with the first Rust-Oleum Rusty Metal fixative before.

You need to use a wire brush to the loose paint, scrape as much as possible .. Then wipe off the excess. Then you have to buy a primer and paint, as Rustolium specifically for iron.

Scrape the paint residue with steel wool or a pressure washer and then paint with a stainless ... Spraying is the easiest to implement.
